You’ve probably seen those YouTube adverts from many acclaimed Internet “Gurus” who claim to have made millions travelling on yachts, doing absolutely nothing. It’s insanely easy to be sucked into these pipe-dreams.

Don’t worry, I got sucked into believing that too! For a long time, I have struggled to generate income online and I have been victim of these dreams too. This site was birthed to identify genuine online business opportunities from the false ones and to show you how to legitimately generate income online.

With this and other hypes, as well as outright scams about online business, this site aims to provide tips, and objective information and reviews to help you identify genuine online business that you can start.

My Experience with Online Businesses

I can say that I have seen it all because I have tried many online programmes and spent a lot of money in the process without any success. Some were outright scams and others were technically legitimate but cleverly disguised as good business. Some of these were operated by popular online gurus. I attended a lot of hyped seminars which promised huge success instantly, but ended up learning nothing, other than be told to buy the products if I wanted the promised success. I still remember vividly that one of them that I joined sent me a booklet and some printed documents full of motivational quotations. There was nothing about how to make money online. I immediately cancelled my enrolment but my credit card was still being charged and it took some persistence to get a refund. Though I became disappointed, I did not lose interest because I believed that it was still possible to be successful from online businesses.

I have heard a lot of claims by people that say they have made millions online. Not that it is not possible! However, I am also old and experienced enough in business and in life to know that making money is not as easy as they sound, unless it is by abnormal means. Once in a while, people might be lucky to make a huge amount of money without diligent effort, but luck is not something that happens all the time. As a result, it is futile to bank on luck as a normal occurrence.

Genuine Online Business

Last year, I did a course about the Internet of Things, which really opened my eyes about the future of the Internet. My interest in having an online business was rekindled.

In order to understand how the online business works, I signed up for a lot of lessons and even joined many sites operated by acclaimed gurus on the online business world. But I ended up getting even more confused and spending the little money I had on automated products, which I did not really need, without any income back in return. I joined so many programmes that I became overloaded with information.

It’s now that I know that all the automated products that I subscribed to were generating affiliate income for the so called Internet gurus who operated such sites. They were affiliates of all these products, so the more people that joined their programmes, the more affiliate income they receive, while you get nothing!

Often when people are asked why do you care about people and why are you doing this? The answer is always like this “I have succeeded and it’s my way of giving back to the people”. I have not succeeded yet and I don’t want to wait until I succeed before giving back to the people. I think it’s a lot better if we start together and succeed together.

I earnestly believe that there are a lot of people that would like to make some money online but do not know how go about it like I did. There are genuine ways that income can be generated online.
